Stibo establishes a new Board structure

Stibo, owner of the three companies namely, Stibo Systems, Stibo DX and Stibo Complete, headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, announced a new and more focused organisation structure today. The leadership’s philosophy behind the change is about adding value to its businesses, by creating an efficient structure around decision-making.

“Two out of the three Stibo-companies, Stibo Systems and Stibo DX are international software organisations that are experts in their field, whereas our third company, Stibo Complete, is a leading supplier in the Scandinavian print business. While both our software companies have a lot in common, our print production is a very different business area. So it is natural for us to continue to have a common Board for the two software companies and set up a separate Board to run our printing company,” shares Per Asmussen, Chairman of Stibo A/S.

The new governance structure doesn’t impact the daily operations of the individual Stibo-companies, employees, or customers.

New organisation

Stibo A/S will now be split into Stibo Software Group and Stibo Complete Group.

Stibo Software Group is the parent company of the two software companies: Stibo Systems and Stibo DX. The Board members here are the known faces from Stibo A/S: Per Asmussen (Interim Chairman), Lars Monrad-Gylling (Vice-Chairman), Signe Trock Hilstrøm and Thomas Ransby.

Stibo Complete Group will be the parent company of the international graphic company, Stibo Complete. The Board will consist of Per Asmussen (Interim Chairman), Hans Damgaard (Vice-Chairman), Per Lind, Claus Nørgaard Hansen and Peter Markussen.

Per Asmussen clarifies that these changes are for not just easier governance of the companies but also for easier recruitment of Board members with the right experience to impact both businesses.

Stibo Foundation (Stibo Fonden) continues to be the owner of all three Stibo companies and there are no changes in the Board or management structure there. Stibo Foundation’s goal is to run the organisation with a long-term perspective and there is no intention to sell or merge any of the companies.

The new structure comes into effect on 1st October 2022.

About Stibo:

Stibo was started as Aarhuus Stiftsbogtrykkerie in 1794. The Stibo Foundation was established in 1966, which has since assumed full ownership of the company.

This ownership has provided a basis for Stibo’s development to a leader in its core areas run under three companies: Stibo Systems, Stibo DX and Stibo Complete. This development is a result of the Foundation’s goal to run the companies with a long-term perspective, the absolute highest technical standard, and innovative leadership.
